Fredalba perform at GQ

Band rock a star studded club

Actor Eric Balfour’s band, Fredalba, performed a nearly flawless set to a celebrity packed room at the new GQ lounge on Saturday night, the venue normally known as White Lotus.

Balfour flew in all the way from Toronto where is he filming “Veritas: The Quest,” just for the GQ event. Fredalba performed for 45 minutes, the vibrant and dynamic group cover many genre’s such as ska, reggae, hip hop, electronic, funk and rock. The band has a very individual sound and can turn a cover of a Metallica song into a funk tune.

The response from the Hollywood A-list crowd was positive, with many celebrities getting on the dance floor, such as Allison Janney, Bai Ling, Danny Masterson, Jessica Biel, Jessica Capshaw, Laura Prepon, Taryn Manning, Cole Hauser, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe and AJ McLean of the BackStreet Boys.

The GQ Lounge is a two-week only celebration of the magazine's March Hollywood edition.
